Our permitting and payment systems will undergo an essential upgrade May 15-16 to enhance security and operational efficiency. You may experience intermittent functionality or downtime. NEW PERMIT APPLICATION! New, simple permit application can be found in our Forms Section under Permit Application(PDF, 2MB). This form is effective immediately. All applications submitted after January 1, 2025 will be required to have the new form.
Now Accepting Batch Submittals! Please refer to Digital Files and Batch Submittals Guidance Document(PDF, 198KB) in our Forms section for more information. Batches are welcome by TRADE/DISCIPLINE only. Full batch must be submitted at each rework round. Files must be flattened, unlayered and unlocked to receive City stamps.
Miami-Dade County Submittals
Effective July 2, 2021
The Building Department will no longer submit to the Miami Dade County CPP Portal (Fire, DERM, Water, etc.) on Applicant’s behalf; permits requiring County approvals will be completed by Applicant. Reworks can be submitted by applicant now.
